Eligible membership categories: Second-year J17 (born in 2009 – for B and C grade only), J19, U23, Elite, Masters
Race categories: Men ABC, Women ABC, Masters Men ABC, Masters 6+ (non-VRS category)

Entry Fees & Pricing Structure

Tour of Bright 2025 uses a time-based tiered pricing model. Fees are based on when you enter — not capped numbers — and all times are listed in AEST/AEDT (Victoria local time):

• Early Bird – $249
  Opens 6:00pm AEST, Thursday 17 July, closes 11:59pm AEST, Sunday 31 August

• Standard – $279
  Opens 12:00am AEST, Monday 1 September, closes 11:59pm AEDT, Saturday 15 November

• Late Entry – $299
  Opens 12:00am AEDT, Sunday 16 November, closes 11:59pm AEDT, Saturday 29 November

Entries close strictly at 11:59pm AEDT on Saturday 29 November 2025.
No late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.

Eligibility

• A valid Race All Discipline membership is required for this event.
  
• Full Race memberships only – Temporary and trial memberships are not accepted.

Participant Cap

In the case a race category is sold out, the following order will be applied (must be entered before 1 October 2025):

• Registered VRS, NRS and UCI team riders
  
• Riders with 2025 VRS points
  
• Riders who placed Top 10 in the General Classification of the 2024 Tour of Bright
  
• Time of Entry
  

IMPORTANT: After successful entry, riders will be marked as provisionally entered — this is normal and indicates registration is complete. The status will update once grading and membership are confirmed by AusCycling.

Statuses like ‘doubtful’ or ‘waitlisted’ mean the race category is full and the rider has been moved to a waitlist.

Scratchings and Refunds

• Log into EntryBoss and use the Scratch button
  
• After entries close, a medical certificate is required (within 7 days)
  
• Other refunds are at AusCycling’s discretion

Teams

Series Teams

• Up to 20 riders from any combination of VRS categories
  
• All riders score points towards the 2025 VRS Teams Overall Competition
  
• Riders listed under team name on official start lists, results, and social posts
  
• Max. 10 riders per category in Men’s A, Women’s A, and Masters Men’s A
  

Event Teams (Men A, Women A, Masters Men A)

• 3–5 riders from the same Series Team
  
• Compete for team classification per UCI rule 2.3.044
  
• TEAM ENTRY LINK – TOUR OF BRIGHT
  
• 10% discount if entering 5 riders in one go
  
• Riders also score points towards 2025 VRS Overall Teams Competition

Race Details

Race Format & Regulations

3 stages:
- Day 1: Road Race + Time Trial
- Day 2: Road Race

Riders must complete each stage to continue. Exemptions may be granted by the Chief Commissaire (e.g. mechanical, crash).

Non-finishers may be allowed to start subsequent stages but become ineligible for GC, Sprints, KOM/QOM, or Series points.
