As part of the club's 100 year celebration, Preston will be holding the annual Junior Carnival and the Senior/Masters Carnival on the same day this year. Preston Junior Carnival and Masters Carnival are annual events and part of the ACES Summer Track Calendar. They provide junior, senior and masters riders the opportunity hone their race skills outdoors on a 325 meter pristine surface

Juniors 8.30 am registration, 9.30am start

Seniors/Masters 1pm registration, 2pm start

Event Details

Event programs specific to this carnival will be available soon, Juniors carnival in scheduled for the morning starting at 8.30am (rego & warm up) and Masters and Seniors in the afternoon starting at 1pm (rego & warm up).

Entry

Seniors/Masters $15 entry

Juniors $10 entry

Grades

Grading will be dependent on ability level for Masters (except for the Masters State Elimination Championship) and age for Juniors. The Masters Carnival will include a Seniors (U19 and Elite) grade. Juniors: JG11+JB11, JG13+JB13, JW15+JM15, JW17+JM17
Junior gear restrictions will apply (roll-outs for top 4) If entries for each age category exceed safety numbers for scratch races (24 riders), then additional grades will be added (A & B grades for respective age). Additional prizes will be awarded as required. If numbers for categories are insufficient in the eyes of the race director to field a race,the categories maybe combined accordingly. Age category prizes will be awarded accordingly. If entries for handicaps exceed safety numbers(24 riders), heats will be run.
Masters A, B, C, D State Championships medals will be awarded by age category. If entries for each age category exceed safety numbers for scratch races (24 riders), then additional grades will be added (A & B grades for respective age). Additional prizes will be awarded as required. If numbers for categories are insufficient in the eyes of the race director to field a race,the categories maybe combined accordingly.
