The Under 9 & 11 and Criterium Portion of this 2020 Western Division Championships have been Postponed due to COVID-19 response from the NSW State Government

The 2020 Dubbo CC Senior Road Club Championships will be using this event to detirmine the winners presentation for this will be held at the next Club Presentation Night.

You can enter both the Road Race and Time Trial through this page.

COVID-19 Notice

We are taking COVID-19 restrictions seriously.
By entering this event, you agree to the following:

  • You will not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms within 14 days of the event, if you have been in a known COVID-19 Hotspot listed by the NSW Health website as listed on the day of the Event or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • This Event is restricted to the Western Division Clubs of Dubbo, Bathurst, Mudgee and Orange Members only due to new restrictions to Cycling NSW SSO Regions.
  • You will follow all safety guidelines and directions of the event promoter
  • You will adopt a "Get In, Race, Get Out" approach
  • It is strongly recommended that you download the COVIDSafe App
  • Maintain Social Distancing at all times
  • Do not share a ride to the event with persons who do not normally live at your address.
  • Use Sanitiser Provided
  • Spectators Limited to one parent only where required.
  • All Attending will have their temperature and contact details taken and kept on file for a minimum of 28 days.
The event promoter is required to follow the Cycling NSW Return to Racing Guidelines


  • All Participants MUST register and pre-pay via EntryBoss , there is no on the day signup , self scratching is available until the normal race cutoff times.

  • Attendance will be noted prior to the racing beginning by the Start Line Official, your details will be kept and provided to NSW Health if required for contact tracing.

  • Racing is on a "Get In, Race, Get Out basis, your primary purpose is to race , not socialise or hang out at the venue. You should arrive 10 minutes prior to your nominated race time and leave as soon as finished. Unfortunately there will be no presentations due to current COVID-19 Precautions.

  • There will be No Holders for the Time Trial Events , riders will need to clip in and start on their own.

  • Time Trial bikes and bars will be allowed for Senior riders and Under 15 riders only.

  • No Canteen or Shop / Food Facilities available on the day, the Nearest town is Geurie which is roughly 10km to the North, please ensure you have enough food and water to get you through the day before arriving.

  • Nearest Toilet Facilities will be located at Wise Park in Geurie next to the Service Station.

  • Turn up dressed and ready for the start of your event, there are no changeroom facilities at either the Time Trial or Road Race location.

  • All Attendees of the event are reminded that Social Distancing Requirements will be in place, for any further COVID-19 related enquires please contact the nominated COVID-19 Safety Coordinator for the event.

  • A riders briefing will take place before both the Time Trial and Road Race begins all riders must attend this briefing, due to tight scheduling we will not wait for riders for the start times, riders who start the time trial or race late will have their start time recorded when they were supposed to start if they do not start before the rider after them or following grade they will be disqualified.

  • Dubbo Club Riders will be allocated a timing chip for the duration of the season, please keep in mind if they are lost, damaged or not returned when required there will be an $100 replacement fee. Non Dubbo Riders will need to collect their timing chip and cable ties from the Start Line Official when they arrive and once finished will need to return the chip to a separate marked container so they can be cleaned and sanitized for the next rider to use them.

  • Timing Chip Holders are now available for purchase for $6 each, please make sure you request this from the race entry page.

There will be no on the day entries for this event.

  • Grading Selected on the entry page will be considered by the Handicapper and Commissionaires If they feel you should not be in the requested grade you will be moved at their discretion, riders may appeal their starting grades to the Commissionaire before the start of the race.

  • 5 Minute Gap Between each Grade
  • A Grade - 2 Laps - 60km
  • B Grade - 2 Laps - 60km
  • C Grade - 1 Lap - 30km
  • D Grade - 1 Lap - 30km

Prizes

Gold , Silver and Bronze Medals for Overall Winners of Each Grade, Mens & Womens.
Participation Riders will receive a Ribbon.

Membership required: Cycling Australia Race Membership and Regional Race Membership Only for Criterium and Road Races.

  • Age Categories if used for this event will be based on your 2020 ages effective from 1st October 2019
  • Riders listed in EntryBoss without a verified licence will be asked to present a Valid Membership card or invoice at sign-on.
  • Riders in Participation events (7 Years and Younger) must hold at miniumum a current Cycling Australia 'RIDE' membership.
  • Cycling Australia Licence Must list your club as Dubbo CC, Bathurst CC, Orange CTC or Mudgee CC

Photography

By registering for this event , I give permission for a representative to take photographs, videos and sound recordings during the event for promotional and editorial purposes. These may be used on social media, websites, in news media and in other publications and promotional material. Please advise the club at info@dubbocycleclub.com.au if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed at the event.


Refund

Riders will receive a refund minus any processing fees charged by EntryBoss.

  • If they scratch themselves from the event prior to the race entries closing
  • If after race has closed a doctors certificate has been provided.
  • Race is cancelled
