About GRVL TAMWORTH

GRVL Tamworth is a two day, mass participation timed Gran Fondo event hosted by Tamworth Cycle Club. This epic gravel event has been around since 2023, proudly sponsored by Goodyear Autocare Tamworth.

Ride the event at your own pace by choosing one of the five different paced groups. This event is not a race, rather a timed event with results for each age group including Juniors 14-18, 19-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60+

Registration

1. Riders must enter via Entry Boss prior to race. No late entries will be accepted
   
2. The minimum age to participate in the Events is 14 years of age and above
   
3. Riders are required to enter each day separately

Bike Requirements

• All bikes accepted. Gravel, Cyclocross or MTB recommended. Your bike must be mechanically and legally suitable for riding on gravel and open roads

• eBikes are permitted and they must comply with NSW regulations. TT (Time Trial) bars and Aero bars are not permitted as they would be impractical on this course

Licences

• Auscycling Lifestyle or better memberships are required for this event. This includes 'Lifestyle', 'Race Off Road', and 'Race All Discipline'
  
• If you are not a current Auscycling member, AusCycling have other options including One Day & 7 Day Licences
  
• Alternatively Auscycling offer 4 week Free trial membership for those eligible. The cost for a One Day Event Licence is $44 + the entry fee and is fully refunded if the event is cancelled or you scratch prior to the event

On the Day

1. Upon arrival please confirm attendence and sign on at the check-in desk and pick up timing chip & number plate
   
2. By entering the E-bike category you agree that your e-Bike used at our events complies with Australian Standards and understand that it may be scrutinised by the race Commissaires
   
3. A rider briefing will be conducted 10 minutes before each Group starts. Be ready when your group is called
   
4. Each rider must return timing chip after event is finished

Scratching or Cancellations

1. Scratching is a self serve, automated refund via Entryboss if withdrawing within the cut-off limit
   
2. Riders will be provided a full refund if the event is cancelled for any reason
   
3. Refunds will not be provided for no shows or if you scratch after the cut-off
