Event Schedule:

	Saturday, 10th June 2023
8.30am	Registration Tent opens
9.00am	Buses start to take you to the top for your Compulsory Track Walk
9.10am	Volunteer Briefing and ready to get into Marshal Positions
9.55am	MANDATORY Rider Briefing
10.00am	Track Opens for Practice All Marshals MUST be in position
2.00pm	Seeding Runs Commence
3.15pm	Retro Race Commence - Sign up at Rego desk by 11am that morning (nb. Conditions apply)
3.30pm	Whip-Off... Riders must apply at Rego desk by 11am for entry (nb. Conditions apply)
4.30pm	Approximate close of Track

We will be hosting a movie &/or the UCI Downhill Rnd 1 in the Big White Marquee overlooking the lake on the Saturday night.

8.00am	Registration Tent open
8.00am	Track walk for those who were not available on Saturday
8.10am	MANDATORY Rider Briefing
8.15am	Buses Arrive and Track Opens for Practice All Marshals MUST be in position
11.15am	Racing commences
1.15pm	Racing completed
1.30pm	Top 20 Shoot-Out
2.00pm	Approximate close of Track
2.30pm	Presentations

Mandatory Track Walk, Rider Briefings, Practice and Race times:

There is a Mandatory Track Walk on Saturday between 9.00-10.00. If you are unable to make this time to walk and sight the track you will still have to do this BEFORE you will be able to ride the track however you will have to make your way down the side of the track as riders will be practicing from 10am onwards on the Saturday and from 8.15am onwards on Sunday.

Rider Briefings are also a COMPULSORY part of racing. This is for your own benefit and safety. If we find riders not attending to the briefings then we can DSQ you. Lets all Practice safely and race safely to help the weekend be as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

Linga Longa Info:

ALL camping must be booked through the Linga Longa Bike Park website directly. Camping bookings here: https://www.lingalongabikepark.com/public-gravity-days/ The cafe will be open Saturday and Sunday. A menu will be posted on the Linga Longa Bike Park and Linga Longa Cafe social media pages by this coming weekend.

IMPORTANT: Linga Longa Bike Park is a private property and it is our privilege to hold a State Round here. There is a price increase for this round only that incorporates the additional charge that is required per rider per day from Linga Longa Bike Park. The $5/spectator per day will be taken by Linga Longa Bike Park on entry to the park. We want to keep supporting fellow MTB enthusiasts in our small state and what Woodland Trails and Landscaping together with LLBP are doing for our Downhill community is a positive thing for our sport. To help fill the volunteer positions that we are always delayed in trying to do on the day of the event we are now offering a discount to the riders who can commit to fill one of these positions. We need to have 6 x Marshal's on each day and also seeking 1 x person to help with Registration on the Saturday AND Sunday mornings.

License Requirements:

You MUST have a valid active Auscycling Race License. Using a 4 Week Trial Membership OR Day License will NOT be accepted. It is also YOUR responsibility to provide PROOF of an active license on the day at Registrations. You cannot take the track until we have sighted a valid license. Organise to have this on hand BEFORE you approach the Registration Tent so you do not hold up the queue.

Extra info:

• Bring your RACE PLATE from previous Rounds this year
• There will be toilets on site.
  
• JUNIORS - U13, U15 & U17: You must wear Knee Pads, Elbow Pads, Full finger gloves, Long Sleeve Jersey and a Full Face helmet at all times when on the track. ALL other riders must wear either elbow pads or jersey to cover their elbows and knee pads or pants to cover knees.
