XCO courses 4-5km long, aiming to be a total race time of 1h 15 for the winner of each category. This means that A graders are expected to do approximately 12.5minute laps, whereas D graders are expected to be over 20 minutes. The trails used are generally Intermediate-Advanced, although B-lines are provided. We have supplied some proposed loops however we cannot guarantee that these will be the exact loop used on race day due to the demands of the park managers.
The race van, rego and sign on will be located on the mezzanine level of the Eagle MTB Park bowl.
Access to this area is from the Old Freeway gate, you will need to follow signs and drive in along the access road.
We need you. These races happen with the good work done by our vollies. We now use a spreadsheet that has available roles and responsibilities for volunteers. By rostering yourself onto the spreadsheet you are helping out and may be eligible for a free entry! See spreadsheet here
