NORWOOD CC SUPER SERIES 2020
TDU WEEK - SUNDAY / MONDAY / TUESDAY
JUNIOR / WOMENS / MENS GRADED KERMESSE
This is tough Adelaide Hills circuit, one of our favourite classic punchy courses! Its punchy climbs and fast decent make for aggressive racing. A Kermesse is halfway between a Road Race and a Criterium. It's like a criterium in the hills, short but fast paced, with multiple little climbs to attack on each lap. Thanks to our long-time sponsors and partners in this event Rapha for supplying deluxe prizes and goodies to the event. For spectating note the finish line is up the road from sign on.
This event is part of a three-race series, NCC SS 2020 run during the TDU to give local and tourist graded riders an opportunity to race while the big race is in town. We are proud to offer three Junior, three Women's and four Men's grades for the series which are our most competitive events of the year. For details on the other two events see links below:

Do not overtake vehicles on the Circuit. Consider them part of the circuit, this is the nature of an open curcuit.

Other races will be on the circuit at the same time. Do not become involved with those races, you must let a faster grade pass, moving left and single file. There is no neutral support provided. No laps out. You must have a flashing red light on at all times as per CSA policy.
Whilst spectators are encouraged for the event their vehicles are not. No spectator vehicles are permitted to circulate on course with the riders.

No Late nominations or nominations on the day, a waitlist within entry boss will be created once the events reach capacity. Acceptance of nominations is at the discretion of the Race Director. Nominate early these events usually sell out. Please scratch as early as practical if you can't attend to allow the next competitor on the waitlist the opportunity to race.
Rider field size per grade restricted for safety and logistics of racing two grades at a time and daylight (timeframe) available to race Criteriums. Numbers limited for the tight Bradbury circuit. Nominate early and don't miss out. Event capacity is 180 for Bradbury and 300 senior riders for the Victoria Park events.
All grading is at the discretion of the NCC Handicapper, Peter Varricchio. The handicapper and the race director have the right to move competitors across the grade range at their discretion during the series.
Juniors A, B, C grades will be offered for Juniors in U13, U15 and U17. The grades generally correlate to age groups. ie. JA=U17, JB=U15, JC=U13 noting that the Junior Handicapper will handicap riders by ability as best we can manage.
U17 cannot ride up in the senior grades for this event, and all events in the NCC Super Series. As age appropriate grades are offered in the events programme U/17 riders are not permitted to ride outside their age group as per CSA policy.
