There are two main areas where riders and teams can set up, plus an overflow area. Overnight camping is not permitted at Stromlo for this event, and Stromlo is now a paid-parking venue (approx $4 per day). Disabled parking areas are available. The “Village Green” is a new area at Stromlo to the north of the Handlebar, and the “XC Finish” is to the south of the Handlebar - where the event village was for the 2024 National XCO Rounds. The Downhill finish is between these two areas. There is no cost for an empty area to setup, but we do need to know if you intend to use one of the areas. You select this as part of your entry, and if you don’t select one, you will not be allocated space.
• Village Green Setup Area. Riders can setup in a 3m x3m area, and combine areas for teams. Vehicles are not permitted in this area, not even to bring your gear in. The Stromlo carpark is immediately next to this area and is available for entry/exit throughout the event.
• XC Finish Setup Area. Riders can setup in a 3m x 3m area and teams can be allocated a 10m x 10m area. Vehicles are permitted in the team 10x10 areas (but only if they fit inside the area) and vehicles cannot be moved in or out of this area while official practice or racing is taking place, so no vehicle movement between 1000-1800 Friday, 0800-1800 Saturday and 0800-1700 Sunday.
• Overflow Setup. This area is the grassed section of the southern portion of the Crit Track. Vehicles can be parked against the western fence, but the same vehicle movement restrictions apply as for the XC Finish Setup Area. It will only be made available if the other two setup areas are full.
• No pets are permitted at this event.
• No open fires or hot-coal BBQs are allowed. Gas BBQs can only be used if an adult is present and must be of a type where the fire goes out immediately the BBQ is turned off, so no “hot-coal” BBQs.
• Drones are not allowed at this event.
• If you have a van with an annex in the main parking area, then there is no discharging waste water onto the ground and no use of pegs to hold down an annex - weights only.
• Mains power cannot be supplied to any tents/items that you bring to the event. Power is only available for event infrastructure.
