By entering this event you agree to the following AusCycling:
ENTRY PROCESS
Melbourne Club GP (close at 23:59 on Tuesday, 03 December 2024)
Riders can enter individually via Entryboss or be entered by their club
If entering via Entryboss: Ensure your current primary club is listed on your Entryboss profile.
Riders can compete for either their primary or add-on club but MUST STATE THEIR CLUB they wish to compete for if it is different to the club shown on the Entryboss profile.

Event Type:
- Melbourne Club GP: Individuals of all age categories are competing in several events (sprint + enduro) towards the overall club tally of the weekend.
Race Categories:
- Melbourne Club GP: J11/J13 AB, J15 AB, J17 ABC, Seniors ABCD* (category grades subject to number of participants).
Membership Requirements: J11, J13, J15, J17, J19, U23, Elite, Masters
Riders must hold a valid AusCycling Race All Discipline membership.
Entry Fees
$35 (+ credit card fees)
Riders are able to scratch (full refund) from a race before close of entries by logging into their Entryboss account.
A medical certificate within 7 days of the event will be required for refunds after entries have closed.
A refund may be granted for other reasons at the discretion of AusCycling.

Registration
At the registration desk in the infield.
Riders competing on both days will keep their allocated numbers.

Race Format and Regulations
Race Categories
- U11/U13, U15, U17, Seniors
All riders will be graded by AC based on race history.
Points and Event Rules for the Melbourne Club GP
- Every rider that finishes an event scores points towards the Overall Club Champion, Points Per Rider and Most Valuable Rider classifications of the day.
- Points: 1st=20pts, 2nd=19pts, 3rd=18pts, ... 20th+=1pt etc. (riders who are pulled out by the commissaire will still be placed and will score at least 1 point - riders pulling out themselves will be listed as dnf and will not score any points)
- Riders can but do not have to participate in all events offered in their category
- Clubs can nominate as many riders as they wish to participate in any category
- Double points will be awarded for Flying 200m and other selected events as indicated on the race program
Additional Equipment and Height Regulations 2024
Riders who do not appear on the exemption list will not be granted an exemption and will have to comply with the standard regulations.
Junior 19 and Elite Riders in Category 2 must submit a rider height attestation application through the UCI portal only.
Junior 19 and Elite Riders in Category 3 must submit a rider height attestation application through the UCI portal only.
All other riders must submit a rider height attestation form to AusCycling email track@auscycling.org.au.
All Championship events at this event are Open Championships and therefore open to interstate riders.
Random bike checks may be conducted for all categories.
Prizes and Presentations
Presentations will be held at the conclusion of the event with the following awards (trophies) being presented:
- Overall Champion: Club that accumulated the most points across the day
- Aggregate Club Champion: Club with highest score per rider average (total points divided by number of starters)
- Most valuable female and male junior/senior riders for those riders contributing the most points for their club
