Other Important Details
-
Race Briefing - Competitors must attend the race briefing prior to their race. Please be ready to go at the marshalling area at least 5min before your race start.
-
Warm-up - Please respect other riders and do not warm up on the track once racing has started at 6:30am.
-
Multiple grades on track - We have multiple grades racing on the track at the same time. All grades to keep to the right hand side of the track unless passing. The faster bunch is expected to pass a slower bunch on the left-hand side. The bunch being passed must adopt a neutral race condition until the pass is completed.
-
Race Finish - When your race is finished, please proceed immediately into the turnout and back to the start finish line. DO NOT go for a victory/cool down lap as other riders may be on the track racing and/or the commissaires may be trying to start the next round of races.
-
Wet weather - A decision to cancel due to poor weather will be made by the Chief Commissaire with announcements via the club's social pages. Generally, we race in all weather, except heavy rain or if there are sheets of water on the track. Any decision on cancellation will be made as early as possible and posted on our Facebook page. All race entry fees will be refunded if races are cancelled.
-
Riding with other grades - At the discretion of the commissaire, you may be permitted to ride at the back of another grade after your race. This can be useful to gauge whether you are ready to move up a grade or can be used as a warm down. Please note: This is a privilege and not a right, you must obtain a helmet cover from rego and obtain permission from the chief commissaire on the day prior to doing so. You must not interfere in anyway with the race.
