**Format 40km road race - Graded handicap
**Location - Hervey's Range - Start/Finish is at Defence Force Range Control (see attached picture) **Entry categories: U15 and above only (Under 15's will be able to race due to the increase in allowable distance for road racing). **Entry fee: - $40 for all participants. **Entries close: 16/06/22 at 5pm to allow for Handicap groups to be sorted out **Rear lights must be on all bikes to increase visibility of cyclists to all road users

1. 1st to 10th (all inclusive) - pending entries
2. Fastest male (overall time)
3. Fastest female (overall time)

Gradings/Handicaps

The event is a graded handicap, whereby male and females are graded according to ability, not age. Entrants will be placed in groups of similar grades depending upon their recent form and known ability. Each group will start the race at timed intervals, with slower groups heading out first, to the faster groups heading out last. All entrants will race the same distance.

Please help the handicappers by providing your regular scratch grade at entry and an entry remark. This helps with an initial grouping of riders of similar abilities, after which the handicappers can then confirm groups and time gaps.
