After our first round to be held at Tuggeranong Pines was postponed due to wet weather, we will be back there racing Waterfall track on Saturday 8 February 2022
All riders must have AusCycling membership which you can get here if you don't have one. Please sign up before you enter the race.
Race rules
* Full face mandatory for all racers.
* Juniors (u13) must wear long sleeves + elbow pads + knee pads/sleeves. This is in line with AusCycling downhill clothing requirements which you can view here
* All other racers must wear long sleeves
* AusCycling membership is mandatory pls see link ^^ to get one
* Please listen to course and start marshals - they are there for your safety and what they say goes. It will be at organisers' discretion to disqualify any riders who ignore marshal direction
* No pushing up ON the track! You can push up NEXT to the track - make sure your bike and or body is not on the track!
* It will be at organisers' discretion to disqualify any riders who do not follow race rules
Vintage category:
* Bikes and components must be pre-2007 - some wriggle room at the discretion of our vintage bike commissaire.
* No bonus points for vintage kits but you'll look sick as if the kit matches the steed.
On the day:
8am-11am: practice
11am: racer briefing
11:30am: racing starts!
3pm: podiums/elbow bumps/high fives

Practice rules
* We want practice to go smoothly and ensure all riders get a praccy run in so please get your sessioning in before the day if you can!
* Make sure you are not ON the track if you are
* You must get your race plate before heading up to head down.
Wet weather If the race has to be cancelled due to wet weather, your entry will go over to the next event unless you ask organisers for a refund.

* All racers getting rego will be required to check in using the Check In Cbr app.
* In the event of lockdown or restrictions, entries will be put over to the next event unless you ask for a refund.
COVID safe behaviour at the event:
* If you're feeling crook, STAY HOME. Even if it's not the spicy cough, nobody wants your lurgy. Talk to race organisers about your entry if you have to stay home. Use it as an opportunity to catch up on Deathgrip, Transcontintental or your YouTube how-tos.
* No spitting - it will be at the discretion of organisers to ask racers or spectators seen spitting to leave
* COVER YOUR MOUTH if coughing or sneezing (yes, even if you're wearing a full face - those things have vents)
* Maintain social distancing where possible
