  • Due to the State Championship status of this event Championship category entries will strictly close Midnight Thursday 7 October (no late entries or on the day entries for Championships!).

Course Map

Directions to course The North Adelaide Park Lands we are using is Park 4 (Reservoir Park/Kangatilla), bounded by Barton Terrace East, O'Connell Street, Main North Road and Lefevre Rd. Check parking restrictions (some are timed) in North Adelaide. Do NOT drive or park on any of the Park lands. There is ample parking on Medindie Road or the Barton Terraces.

LICENSE AND BICYCLE REQUIREMENTS FOR EVENTS

LITTLE CROSSERS
Children aged 2+ are welcome to join in the cyclocross fun and catch the cycling bug at an early age. Balance Bikes, trainer wheels and tricycles are OK too. An AusCycling Race membership is required.

SUPPORT (OPEN BIKE) EVENT
All riders must have a permit or license to race. An AusCycling 4 week free trial is available if you have not held a membership in the past 3 years. Any type of bicycle is permitted in the Open Bike Event (eg BMX, MTB, Downhill, Road, CX...).

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS
Riders must hold either an AusCycling Race Off-Road or All Discipline membership (or MTBA / CA legacy membership) to race championship events. Trial memberships and day licenses are NOT permitted.

The following State Championship Categories will be awarded subject to entries: J9 (mixed), J11 (mixed), J13, J15, J17, J19, Elite, U23, Masters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. (Masters 1=30-34yo, Master 2=35-39yo and so on based upon the age you attain in 2021) . Medals will be awarded for each category.


JUNIOR CATEGORIES U9, U11, U13, U15, U17

Any bicycle may be ridden provided it conforms to general safety regulations. Two working brakes and bar end plugs required.


SENIOR CATEGORIES U19, U23, ELITE AND MASTERS 1-10

The racing will be conducted under Australian/UCI Cyclo-Cross Technical Regulations. Bicycles must conform to Regulations (eg drop bars, max tyre width 33mm, two working brakes)

State Elite Race Eligibility - Any licensed rider born 2002 or before are eligible to contest this championship (whether they hold a Masters or Elite Membership). U23 or U19 riders will also ride within this race and be awarded medals separately.

Masters aged riders (born 2002 or before) may contest either Masters Championships or Elite Championships, or BOTH. You will need enter and pay for both races (you will need to login again).


Covid-19 restrictions and what it means for us

If you are unwell, please stay home. If you have entered the event and fall ill in the days leading up to the event, you can easily withdraw your entry and get a refund by clicking the 'scratch' button. All riders and spectators will be expected to check in via the QR code provided.

No entries will be permitted on the day. Pre-entries only.

Sign-on will be contactless. Please visit the rego desk and have your name checked off and scan the QR code before going on course. Please allow physical distancing between yourself and the race volunteers. Ensure you have your race number and timing tag on before entering the course.

If you have raced with us before and have lost your PACC Timing Tag or PACC race number (first issued at Xmas Xross 2020), please ensure you purchase replacements when you register. These will be waiting for you on race day in a race pack envelope. We won't be issuing news ones to you on race day if you forget them. If you're picking up a race pack, please use the hand sanitizer before looking for your envelope (packs are in surname alphabetical order).

Team tents/rider shelters will be permitted but please ensure you're following physical distancing requirements. Please feel free to bring spectators with you but ensure they understand the requirement to physically distance while at the event.

Consider your actions and how they impact upon others. Give volunteers and other competitors people plenty of room, be mindful of others' mental and physical wellbeing. Stay home if you're sick.
