plate collection Saturday 11th September 2pm-230pm

rider briefing Saturday 230pm

Riders on course Saturday 3pm

Racing finished by Saturday 430pm

RACE DAY 2

Event Location start/finish– Main Trail head/ McGregor Road

rider briefing Sunday 12th September 730am

Riders on course Sunday 8am

Information

Round 4 of the 2021 Cairns MTB enduro series- Big Bannger to Finish the race Season, this Will be a 2 DAY EVENT, Saturday 1 race stage ( queen stage) Sunday 4 race stages ( normal format)

++ Sorry no U13 this round ++

All riders are required to have to following gear to race, full Face helmet full finger Gloves Knee Pads Extra gear is optional

Make sure you have enough water to last the race or plan to refill, any tools required to fix any mechanical's as other riders may not be around to offer assistance

U16 (13-15) - 5 stages

Junior U19 (16-18) - 5 Stages

Veterans (30-44) - 5 Stages

Masters (45+) - 5 Stages

Expert (19-29) - 5 Stages

Elite 19+ - 5 Stages

open E-Bike - 5 Stages

Race Stages

Stage 1 SATURDAY 11TH ( QUEEN STAGE)

-WORLDS- Starting top of world cup downhill track, take hard left hand turn after rockgarden and alien tree, into cloonies trail, ride this trail all the way to the end around the water tank, across the road into the kids track to finish at the end

TRANSIT RETURN TO THE PARK- ride the full length of Panguna street, past the silver gate at the end through the grass back into the mtb park

Stage 2 SUNDAY 12TH

-ROCKY DINGO- Full rocky dingo, take crocs teeth trail, into the B-line track, into PD, ride PD all the way round back of the water tank to finish in the muddy section on the bitchum road

Stage 3 SUNDAY 12TH

- NATIONALS - starting on the road flat section above the rockgarden ( cockatoo flats), ride the trail take hard left to go across to happies, ride happies all the way across the shuttle road into MP39- full MP39 ( DONT FINISH AT CLUB SITE) ride all the way to the end

NOTE NEW SECTION OF TRAIL IN HAPPIES- PLEASE GO PRE RIDE BEFORE RACE DAY

Stage 4 SUNDAY 12TH

-PIPELINE - full top to bottom pipeline, using the new exit under construction , will be open just for the race

Stage 5 SUNDAY 12TH

- VINES- Start up on the cyclone bridge, down into Vines, finish on the world cup finish bridge
