This 3 part series is a graded match sprint series, if there are sufficient numbers of riders we typically run 5 grades on each day. Riders qualify at first with flying 200s and are then split into grades where there will be a round robin or partial round robin to determine the top four riders from each grade, who then race for the top three places. Dates of series are Sat 8th of May 2021, Sat 19th of June 2021, Sat 17th of July 2021.

Format

Graded Match Sprints based on Flying 200 qualification. For Riders of ALL levels and of ages JM17, JW17, JM19, JW19, Elite, Masters.

No prize money however riders will compete for a daily aggregate prizes and gain points towards 3 series aggregate prizes and the perpetual Trevor Watson Trophy.

Registration from 6:00pm Racing from 6:30pm

All CA licences riders graded from J17 Male & Female upwards

Entry

All categories: $20 per entry + 30c payment card fee.

Field will be capped at 36 entries. Entry cut off is the Friday night before the event.

Covid update

Racing is going ahead Saturday the 19th of June.
• To compete we must follow the Covid Restriction guide lines. • Due to race numbers capped at 34 riders and max occupancy set at 50, we need to limit the amount on non-riders attending. If a parent or guardian is attending please limit to this to one person attending. • You must wear a mask over your mouth and NOSE whenever you are not on a bike and actually riding. • On Entry to DISC you must sign on via the QR code.

Community sport Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm Maximum venue capacity 150, including no more than 50 indoors Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm so we need to space out and one rider per bike rack.

Open for all ages, training and competition Limited to minimum number of people required to participate in and facilitate the activity (i.e. players, coaches) and must be within venue limits above for indoor sports Spectators not allowed (excludes people necessary for events such as teachers, instructors, trainers, coaches, umpires, carers, parents and guardians)
