Please Note * Event 1 - 3 will be raced over the shortened circuit. * Events 1-4 will have separate prize money for boys and girls. * U17 women will race in their CQ Grades if their are insufficient entries. * Elite Men A will have 4 primes throughout the race. * Women A will have 2 primes throughout the race. * Prime winners must finish the race to claim the prize money. * Every attempt will be made to start each even on time

Prizes:

“ANZAC 25” - 1st $600 plus Trophy, 2nd $300, 3rd $200, 4th $100, Primes $50. “ANZAC 20” - 1st $400 plus Trophy, 2nd $200, 3rd $100, 4th $75, Primes $50. Other events - Cash prizes - 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each event. (conditional on the number of entrants).

Requirement to have a Queensland Raceways Lakeside Bicycle Licence.

A condition stipulated by the circuit Lessee to allow cycle racing on the Lakeside Park circuit is that every rider must have a “Queensland Raceways Bicycle Licence” in addition to your normal licence. This is included in the entry fee.

Access to Lakeside Raceway.

Turn left at the Golf Club into Lakeside Road which passes through the Golf course. At the end of Lakeside Road enter the complex via the main gate. There is NO access to inside the circuit for vehicles via the gate across the track. This will be under the control of a marshal. Please obey his instructions. For vehicular access, please follow the road to the right around the outside of the circuit (shown dotted in the diagram below) until you arrive at the entrance tunnel. Take care if you have any roof mounted bikes!

Registration.

The Registration room is the building beside the Control Tower. Riders must register no later than 15minutes prior to their race start time and attend the Commissaire’s pre-race briefing.

Marshalling Area. The Marshalling area is located adjacent to the Tower in the Pit area.

Refreshments. The Lakeside Raceway canteen will be open throughout the day.

Toilets. Male and Female toilets are located at the rear of the Control Tower.

The Circuit. The track is a hot-mix surface with a lap distance of 2.4Km.

Please Note. The Tower is “Out of Bounds” except for Lakeside Park staff during the day.

Parking. Park anywhere inside the circuit except where you might restrict road access.

See the following information, circuit access and Lakeside licence application which is only there for you to read the Lakeside operator’s terms and conditions prior to accepting them when you enter the event. On completing your entry you have indicated that you agree to the Terms & Conditions shown on the Lakeside licence form. You do not need to bring the completed form with you like previous years.

Conditions of issue:

I, the Applicant, of my own free will apply to QueenslandRaceways OperationsPlyLtd("TrackOpertaor")for an QR Licence for the purpose riding a bicycle In compettiion and test sessions conducted by the TrackOperator and also for the purpose of taking part as an official, spectator. Crew or Mechanic In connection with an authorised Activity or PerformanceTesting. I certify that all information on this form is correct and will adviseTrack Operator in the event of any physical impairmen that may occur which could affect my ability to continue to undertake an Activity and/or Testing.

Warning of Risk

I acknowledge and agree that riding and racing a bicycle can be dangerous and that accidents can and often do happen. I agree the Track Operator has the right to terminate my participation in any Activity or Performance Testing at any time for what ever reason it sees fit at the time. I declare that I have read and understood these warnings and accept all the inherent risks and danger in competition, testing and the activities surrounding the testing.

Exclusion of Liability

I agree to absolve the Track Operator, from all liability however arising from injury or damage however caused (whether fatal or otherwise) arising out of my use of a QRO sanctioned venue in a QRO permitted event

Indemnity

In consideration of !he Track Operator granting me the Licence I agree to indemnify the Track Operator in respect of any actions, suits,proceedings, claims, demands, losses, damages,costs, penalties, fines, whatever arising as a result, directly or indirectly, of my use or misuse of the Track or any act or omission (Including negligence) on the part of theTrack Operator. Shoul any Incident occur as a result of my particpation In an Activity and/or PerformanceTesting where by a successful claim is made under any Insurance policy relating to the Track and an excess premium or deductbile is charged by the insurer of the Track I will pay in full the excess or deductible under such insurance policy except to the extent that it is paid bya third party .

Condition of theTrack

I acknowledge that I have thoroughly inspected the Track and found it to be in safe condition for the level of Activities and/or Performance Testing I intend to undertake.By using of theTrack I indicate acceptance of lhe Track's conditionfor the Activity and/or Performance Testing I will undertake. If an act or occurrence in whichI am involved or observe reduces the safety of the Track I will immediately notify the Track Operator and warn other Track users of the dangerand/or increased risk. I have read, understand, acknowledge and agree to the above warnings, exclusionof liability, indemnity and inspected the Track and accept with full knowledge lhe likelihood of Injury and damage inherent in any testing activtiy.
