The 2020 women's track novice program is up and running. We're pleased to announce that Vikings will be running a second program open to all comers. If you've seen track cycling at the Olympics and wondered what it would be like to fly around a velodrome or heard how much fun the riders in our previous programs had, why not give it a go? If you're a competent road rider then you have all the skills you need to get started riding and racing on the track.
The program will run over six weeks, taking you from being new to the track to being ready to race club nights. It will run on Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30 on 14 November - 18 December at the Narrabundah velodrome. For the safety of all participants please ensure you can participate in all sessions.
If you have a track bike, you’re welcome to use it. If not, we have a selection of club bikes for participants to use. Due to the velodrome’s steep banking, only track bikes can be used.
Places are limited, and we have a limited number of club track bikes so first in, first served!
