Inspiring kids to race

Hawthorn Cycling club is once again delivering "Let's Race " a cycling development program developed by Cycing Victoria and aimed specifically for junior riders. Lets Race is a fun and interactive learning program for kids who are already riding thier bikes and want to gain more skills and develop knowledge and confidence to take the next step into racing safely and confidentaly in junior races.

On completion of the course all participants will receive a 1 year Cycling Australia VIP membership to Hawthorn Cycling Club.

Whats included:

• Five sessions where you will learn the skills needed to start racing in upcoming junior events and school racing.

Who's this for?

• Boys and girls aged 9 to 14 years

Where and when?

Location: Hawthorn Velodrome, Robinson Road, Hawthorn.

Dates: Monday 23rd Sept - Friday 27th Sept.

Time: 10am - 11.45pm

Program requirements

Participants need to

• Have a roadworthy bike
• Have an Australian Standards helmet
• Be able to confidently ride a bike
