About

Goulburn Valley MTB Club (XC) event have a set number of laps around the course. The length of each loop is between 6.5 to 7 km’s and the number of laps ridden depends on the category that is entered; see our categories table below. Each category starts separately (no mass start). Riders compete with riders in the same category and we have enough categories to suit all ages and abilities. Ultimately the first over the finish line in each category is the winner.

This event will serve as the return of XC racing at MT Major into the AusCycling Events calender in future.

Race Membership

• All riders must hold some form of Auscycling licence to race. This includes AusCycling RACE ALL DISCIPLINE or OFF-ROAD membership, plus one day/weekend or trial memberships.

Not currently licensed?
Option 1: You can get a free four week trial license if you haven't had one or a full license in the past TWO years.
Option 2: If you have used up 4 week free trial you can get One Day Event Licence (https://auscycling.org.au/become-a-member/event-licences) when purchasing your entry.

ALL riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Your emergency contact details also needs to include this adult that's on-site.
