We want a great race, so any Senior rider who brings a rider that did not ride last year, you will each get $10 cash back on the day and thank you to our sponsors we are offering great prize money!

Event information:

Albury Wodonga Cycling Club is pleased to present this race on behalf of the family. Woofa was a much loved sportsman, playing football at Yarrawonga and Mulwala. He was also passionate about being involved in junior sports.

His greatest cycling achievements were racing the Melbourne to Warrnambool and Melbourne to Yarrawonga many times. On one occasion, he won the criterium the day after the Melbourne to Yarrawonga and was also a winner of the Yarroweyah wheel race and many other track events!

We are thrilled to advise that we will have many members of the family at the Cycling Festival.

There are toilets available at the sign-on area.

Don’t forget a SOLID red tail light is required for racing in Victoria.

Parking:

There is sufficient parking available at the sign-on area and minimal parking at the start/finish.
Not permitted cars are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED on the race route.
Please ensure vehicles do not obstruct the finish or create congestion.

Marshalling:

Marshalling will commence at 12:50pm and thereafter 10 minutes prior to each bunch scheduled departure time (Approx 1km from sign-on area)

When instructed, riders together with lead/follow vehicles will then roll together to the start line (Note, riders MUST be marshalled at the marshal area and NOT at the start line).

A valid AusCycling Racing Membership is required.

Please ensure that your AusCycling membership number is correct in EntryBoss to allow your licence to validate automatically.

• You must have your current membership card with you at the event, or an email or paperwork confirming your membership.

• It is a condition of our event that we must operate a strict "no license, no participation" policy.

• For overseas riders, an international UCI License will be accepted.

Scratching policy:

Self-service scratching includes an automated refund. Scratching permitted until midnight the Friday night before race day. Use the SCRATCH button on the race entry page to scratch.

Handicapping:

• If you have raced at Tour de Riverina races this season, generally you will be expected to race in (at a minimum) the same bunch this race.
• Whilst the handicapper will consider all reasonable requests, the race grading decisions will be final.
• If you are not sure which grade to race, discuss this with the handicapper in person or by using the email below.
• Please nominate grade and previous recent race results and rider similar ability.
