Event Information

This is Round 4 of the 6 round Northern Inland Cross Country Series for 2024. Hosted in an XCO style format, with race duration planned according to age group category, including an all ages Elite option.
A recreational option is also available for the less competitive, who wish to participate for the experience but do not wish to be timed.

• Elite Male & Female
• Expert & Master 1-2 age category Male & Female (Ages 20-39)
• Master 3-4 age category Male & Female (Ages 40-50)
• Master 5+ age category Male & Female (Ages 51 and up)
• Open ages E-Bike Male & Female
• Under 19, 17 and 15 for Male & Female
• Under 13 ( Modified duration and lap) for Male & Female
• Adaptive for Male and Female

Race Route/Loop

This XCO style race will include a combination of Tamworth Mountain Bike Park green and blue rated trails combined to make a lap distance of approximately 5-7km per lap.

The quantity of laps is set according to each category, with the maximum race duration limited to 2:00 hours:

The race co-ordinator will announce the route during the race briefing.

Entry Cost

All riders require a AusCycling licence to race. If rider is not a AusCycling member then an "Event Licence" will need to be purchased from AusCycling: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/event-licences
