XCO (Cross Country Olympic) is fast and furious! If you rode the Trek Rockhampton MTB XCEN 3 Hour Day/Night at Seeonee Park, then you will be familiar with the trails, because we will be back there again.

But there's a twist - this time we will be racing the Novice Loop CLOCKWISE! Don't be complacent! You will approach a couple of corners a lot faster in this direction!

Rocky MTB aims to be inclusive with separate categories for a variety of ages, genders and even e-bikers!

Ages

• Age is defined as at 31 December 2024.
• AusCycling XCO Maximum Race Duration Age Restrictions apply and cannot be waived by Rocky MTB.

Entry Fees

• Senior $30 per rider
• Junior $15 per rider

Race Schedule

• Race Plate allocation commences at 1:30pm with the Rider Briefing at 2:45pm.
• Start time is at 3:00pm for all categories. Race duration will be 15 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on your race category (see Categories & Duration above).
• Practice is from 1:30pm to 2:30pm only for registered riders issued with a race plate.

Rules

• This event is conducted in accordance with AusCycling Policies and Rules.
  
• An AusCycling Race Membership or Event Licence is mandatory.
• Riders must comply with any additional rules advised during the Rider Briefing.
• Fastest time wins each category.

Event Cancellation

If the event has to be cancelled due to extreme weather, a notification will be posted on the Rocky MTB Facebook page.

Facilities

Camping is available at Seeonee Park at the cost of $7.50 (payable on the day). Cold showers and toilets are available.

Venue Rules

Adhere to posted speed limits driving in and out. Remove all rubbish and be mindful of nearby Scouts with respect to noise, dust, etc.

Prizes

Sponsor prizes will be offered as a random draw after the race. Category winners will receive a Race Certificate. There are no podium prizes other than the glory of mounting the podium and being immortalised via social media.

Scratching

Entered & can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss Scratch mechanism. Please note the scratch cut-off of 9:00am Saturday 02 March 2024. DNS (Did Not Start) refunds after this time are at the discretion of Rocky MTB.
