GRADING: AMBC Committee hold power to adjust and move any pairings grade entry as needed.
Solo Riders can enter and we will pair with other solo riders. To do this please contact Peter at: racedirector@ambc.asn.au
E-Bikes E-Bikes (separate class, running at the same time as A grade).
JUNIORS: To avoid juniors exceeding max ride times we will enforce these restrictions.
U13’s are only permitted to race in C Grade.
U15’s are only permitted to race in B Grade or C Grade.
Race Times: A Grade: 80mins (approx. 40mins per rider)
B Grade: 60mins (approx. 30mins per rider)
C Grade: 40mins (approx. 20mins per rider)
PODIUMS: We will do podiums for the glory but…..
No Podium Prizes, awards will be given on day at random for participation and good sprit.

The following volunteer roles make a significant difference to the ease of running an event:
A current AusCycling All-Discipline or Off-Road license is required to ride these events. Bring your license card, digital membership or proof of license with you to sign-on, just in case!
If you don't have a membership head to the AusCycling memebrship page and sign up.
On the day, competitors will be issued with a race plate that contains a transponders as well. Cable ties are provided, although it is your responsibility to ensure that your race plate is visible and correctly mounted.
This race plate is to be returned after the race.
Results and live timing will be available from the clubs MyRaceResult page

Course will be set up the day before unless noted otherwise. Please contact racedirector@ambc.asn.au in advance if you would like to help setup the course.
XCC is a fast paced ‘cross country’ (meaning up and down the hill) MTB race that is designed around a shortened race time and more suitable course design for beginners, meaning it is a friendly introduction to racing for all.
For our more experienced riders, think crit racing of mountain bike, but twisted with spectacular features and exciting sprints for position.

Car pool if you can. Save the environment and minimise your impact.
Need to withdraw from the event? EntryBoss enables a self-serve refund if things change and you cannot make the event. Please use the scratch button to trigger a refund and automatically remove yourself from the start list.
