This whole series we have tried to showcase and revive old school downhill tracks and our final round is no exception! Round 4 of the Dirtsurfer Capital Kamikaze downhill series will see us racing at Kowen West - long forgotten or perhaps even never ridden by some of our young frothers.
Track has been finalised and is well-ridden in now! The boot in between two rocks marks the start and there are temporary sticks/bunting/hose to help guide you to the end of the track. All will be bunted on race day.
West Kowen trails are off Sutton Road and are on Strava. The trails are about 30 minutes out of Canberra and signposted as West Kowen. Enter with bikes over the gate, take the fire road to the right then head up the first little fire road to the left (after the power poles). She's a steep climb in but so rewarding once you're at the top. Course preview will be released soon but in the mean time get out there and enjoy!
All riders must have AusCycling membership which you can get here if you don't have one. Please sign up before you enter the race.
