La Trobe is a very popular race for a number of reasons.
Part of that popularity is the TEAMS format. Because of this format, we will be running this race as it has been raced in previous years - based on TEAM POINTS for Sprints and QOM/KOMs.
As a result, this race will not be timed, but manually judged at the Sprint and QOM/KOM points.
Riders are still requested to run their Season Number frame plate to help with judging of rider race numbers.
Based on current forecasts, the event will definitely proceed as planned. Expect some rain at some stage. We may need to make a call on the day about individual races (eg to delay or shorten) depending on local conditions. Decisions are made by the commissaires in conjunction with the race director. Safety is our priority. Refunds: If any races do not proceed due to weather, affected riders will be refunded fully. If any races are shortened it is up to the discretion of the organisers whether a refund is given.
