Description

Summer is nearly here and crits are just around the corner. Due to "our friend" COVID, most of the races or events that club members traditionally focus on (think Hartley's, Tour of Bright or L'Etape) have been cancelled.

Fear not, Vikings are still looking to run a development squad training program. Whilst this squad isn't targeting any particular event, the aim is to develop fitness and camaraderie and at the end of the program, if you're not contesting Crit sprints, then you'll be getting close!!

The program will:

• Start on Tuesday 29 September
• Run for 8 weeks
• Involve 8-10 hours per week
• Be based around the regular VCC bunch rides (Wasabi, Norman and PROD), plus additional training on Tuesday mornings
• Places are limited, so first come, first served!

Fees

This squad will run at a reduced cost compared to previous Viking Dev Squads.

Licensing

Although we're not targeting any specific races, it is a requirement, as we are a CA affiliated club, that you hold a Cycling Australia “Ride +” or “Race” license and be comfortable riding in a bunch.
