With much regret, this year's running of the Canberra Junior and Women’s Criterium Challenge has been cancelled.

The 2020 Canberra Junior and Women's Criterium Challenge is an exciting two-day event comprising of 3 different criterium stages per grade. Competitors are invited from Under 11 through to Under 17 boys and girls, as well as women of all ages in multiple grades. There will be an overall point score per grade, with prize money and prizes up for grabs. There will also be a participation category for younger riders and the U9 category. The event will take place on Canberra's purpose-built Stephen Hodges criterium circuit at Stromlo Forest Park.
This will be a fun weekend packed with exciting racing not to be missed!
All races to be held on the purpose-built Stephen Hodge Criterium Circuit
Start: 8:30AM on Saturday - (registration open from 7:45am Saturday), Race start - 9:00AM on Sunday
Open to: Cycling Australia members
Juniors : Participation, U9B, U9G, U11B, U11G, U13B, U13G, U15M, U15W, U17M, U17W. **Gearing restrictions: Juniors must comply with their age group roll outs.
Womens : A, B, C grades. Minimum number of 10 entries per grade required for women's grades to proceed as individual grades. If minimum numbers are not met, grades may be combined or entry refunded.

3 races per grade over 3 different courses. 2 races on Saturday and 1 race on Sunday.
Some grades will be on the track at the same time, however will start separately and be awarded separately if numbers are sufficient. (U11 Boys and U11 Girls) (U13 Boys and U13 Girls) (Womens B and Womens C).
Races will run consecutively and actual start times may change. If a grade is cancelled, all race starts will move forward accordingly.

ACT Junior Development fund will be providing catering with a canteen available on both days and Handlebar Cafe is available on site
To enter the racing categories of the 2020 Canberra Junior and Women’s Criterium Challenge, a Cycling Australia Race License is required - (purchase here)
We also ask riders in the Participation category to purchase a race licence - a one-month licence costs around $6.
Bikes with disc brakes will be permitted in all categories of the Canberra Junior & Women's Tour.
