About

The ACT Track Championships are back for 2020, with a condensed program.

• Date: Sat, 8 Feb 2020 - Sun, 9 Feb 2020
  
• Times: The event will run from 9am - 2pm each day, with the track open for warm-ups from 8am.
• Venue: Narrabundah Velodrome

Omnium events

The Omnium Championships will consist of the following events:

• Time Trial;
  
• Flying 200 metres;
  
• Keirin;
  
• Scratch race;
  
• Points race;
  
• Elimination race
  

Paracycling events will include:

• Time Trial;
  
• Pursuit; and
  
• Flying 200 metres
  

Why is ACT Championships registration more expensive than a club race?

As well as the regular costs like venue hire and first aid there are extra costs involved in holding state championships, such as paying an honorarium to the commissaires who officiate the racing and purchasing medals for 34 age categories.

Clothing

Cycling ACT Technical Regulations and Bylaws require riders racing in colours other than the colours of their Club to be approved by the federation.
