There's going to be FREE SKILLS SESSIONS in the morning. There will be sessions for kids and adults*!

Then... It's the prologue! It's short and fast and fun! Expect to race twice. Both times for about 15-20mins. Seems short? You know that's going to feel like an hour in the middle of it all!

RACE ENTRY PROCEDURE & SCRATCHING POLICY: Number pickup and on-the day entry (if available) closes 15mins before your race. Use the SCRATCH button on the race entry page to scratch!

VOLUNTEERS: We can't run events like this without volunteers! Please sign up below to volunteer half an hour or an hour of your time on the day to help the day run smoothly (eg crossing marshal, rego desk, bbq). Volunteers get free #voli-watts or something immensely powerful...

KIDS: Kids licences are free, and cover you for the race. Unfortunately you have to be under 11 to get one. Other kids (u13 - u19) are subject to a sliding scale based on age, but it's still way cheaper than for grownups. • Skill level/gender group splits for the Skills Session TBC
• Canteen and BBQ will be operating after the skills fun and through the afternoon.
• Number Pickup: from 1pm, Inside the clubrooms (or on the deck if it's nice!)
• Racing starts: ~1:30pm (Latest schedule will be published on the blog/facebook and below)
• Entry Fees: $5 for adults, $FREE for kids under 15yo, ON THE DAY ENTRIES FOR ADULTS WILL EXIST - YOU WILL NEED A VALID LICENCE
• All Kids register ON THE DAY.
• Grades: Fast CX Women (Heroic Women), Fast CX Men (Heroic Men), Fun CX Women (CX Curious Women), Fun CX Men (CX Curious Men), Open Men and Women, Kids (Girls & Boys & Balance bikes)
• Entries: Open ~two weeks before the race, unless we forget to flip the switch, closes evening of Friday 27th May.
• Parking: Do not park on the north side of Harrison St. DO NOT DO THIS.
• SCRATCHING up to midnight before the race is via EntryBoss (refunded). After that email us at dirtydeedscx@gmail.com (sorry no refund at that time).

WELL WORTH NOTING

Because of time constraints this we will be doing blended grades for this one (please grade yourself on how serious you take bikes in general, winning low grades when you are quick just gets you side-eye on the podium). Remember this race is really focused on having as much fun as possible racing friends in short bursts in a small area!

HEAT ASSIGNMENT: Based on your selected grades...

1:00-2:30 - Registration

1:00-1:30 - Course open

1:30 - Kids (incl Bal bikes) - 15mins

1:50 - Kids Prizes (5mins)

2:00 - 3:00 - Heat racing (several heats, scratch racing)

3:10 - 3:50 - Novelty Races (more fun than eating 2kgs of fairy floss and drinking 5L of red cordial)

3:50 - Presentations

4:05-? Pack down
