2022 Blackwood Summer Shoot-Out

EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO THE 5TH FEB 2022

This is the first Inaugural Event that we plan to host together with the Blackwood Downhill Crew. It is going to be a fun way to Kick off the 2022 Downhill State Season, wash off those cobwebs and carry the Bragging rights into Round 1 at Denmark. And for the Top 20 riders you will have a chance in the Shoot-Out for an amazing prize pool of $1000.

You will have two trails, one timed run on each, and the fastest combined time Wins!

Pricing

This is a single day Shuttled Event

	Race Day
Adults	$60
Juniors	$50

Do not miss out… This event will be capped at 120 Entries.

Online Registrations will close 3rd February at 6.00pm or before if maximum entries have been reached.

Late Registrations

Late Registrations can be made at the venue ONLY if the maximum entries have not been reached. It will then be first in first served on the day AND you will be charged an additional Late Entry Fee of $20

Memberships

You MUST have a valid active Auscycling License. This is a Bronze Club Level event, a once-off 4 Week Trial Membership or a Single Event License will be accepted. It is also YOUR responsibility to provide PROOF of an active license on the day at Registrations. You cannot take the track until we have sighted a valid license. Organise to have this on hand BEFORE you approach the Registration Tent so you do not hold up the queue.

You can ONLY purchase this online through Auscycle. We will need to sight confirmation of this license as stated above.

Event Schedule times

The Saturday 5th February practice from 9am
Racing to commence approximately 1pm and finish approximately 4pm
Top 20 Shoot-Out for the fastest 20 riders across all categories
Presentations will be held at Nannup Brewing Co at 6pm

Top 20 Shoot-Out Info

Once racing has finished, we will collate all times across all categories and the Top 20 fastest riders will then compete on one trail only for a share in the $1000 prize pool donated by the Legends at Empire Cycles and Elite Automotive Care.

First Place - $500

Second Place - $250

Third Place - $125

Fourth Place - $75

Fifth Place - $50

Please note... If a Junior wins any of the above places they will not receive a cash amount, however a voucher to Empire Cycles for the matching amount. We are governed under the Auscycling Junior guidelines.

Extra info

• There is St. John’s ambulance as first aid during the Practice and Race times. Track is CLOSED outside of these times.
  
• There will be a coffee van with some limited food options. But you will be need to be self sufficient and bring your own food and water.
• There are toilets on site
  
• NB: Please ensure you have a Mask on you at all times. This will be required when you are sitting on the shuttle bus.
