Statement of Acknowledgement

The Adelaide SuperDrome is on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. AusCycling acknowledge not only this ancestral relationship, but also the ongoing deep feelings of attachment and relationship of the Kaurna people to country. We respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land and cultural beliefs. We also pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

In addition, we extend that respect to other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations.

Adelaide Track League is here to stay!

This special SPRINTFEST round of Adelaide Track League will feature sprinters from all over the country as the state institutes bring their quickest riders to compete in some good old-fashioned two-ups.

For SPRINTFEST, Elite Men's and Womens' sprinters will be graded into groups of 8 and seeded into Quarter Finals based on either F200 times or as decided by HPN coaches. Group lists will be made available to riders on Thursday evening prior to Friday's racing.

Winners of Quarters will go on to Semi Finals, while the knocked out riders will be put into Keirin Heats and Finals through the remainder of the evening's race programs. Quarters and Semis will be one-off races, and each group's SPRINTFEST final will be a best of 3.

We'd appreciate the support of family and friends that you can entice into attending: more spectators = more atmosphere and a better experience for everyone. If you can encourage 6 adults to come, we'll refund your entry fees! Just email us with the name on the order (to sa.info@auscycling.org.au) and we'll process your refund through Entryboss.

At this stage, we plan on offering the following grades:

Elite+U19 Men - SPRINTFEST entry only (total SPRINTFEST riders capped at 40, priority given to HPN)
Elite+U19 Women - SPRINTFEST entry only (total SPRINTFEST riders capped at 40, priority given to HPN)
Junior Men (U15/U17 combined) - three bunch races
Junior Women (U15/U17 combined) - three bunch races
Support Men - three bunch races
Support Women - three bunch races

Please Note

Although we aim to provide a great racing experience, we are also conscious of providing an engaging spectator experience. As such, there will be NO AERO HELMETS at Sprintfest. Where possible, we also request that we have as many different kits on show as it makes it easier for new spectators to follow who is racing! We know many probably wont like this so appreciate the cooperation and help.
