Cycling Australia Masters Road National Championships - Criterium

Event Date: : 28th October, 2017

Event Rider Registration : 26th October 2017 at Currumbin Vikings Surf Club (741 Pacific Parade, Currumbin QLD 4223) from 5pm - 9pm.

Registration will also be available at race village.

Riders must provide a valid Cycling Australia RACE Membership or International Licence in order to receive their race pack.

Provisional Schedule:

FROM 8am:

• Men’s Masters 8-10 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps
• Women’s Masters 6-8 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps
• Men’s Masters 4 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps
• Men’s Masters 1 - 40 minutes + 3 Laps
• Men’s Masters 6-7 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps
• Women’s Masters 1-3 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps
• Men’s Masters 2 - 40 minutes + 3 Laps
• Men’s Masters 3 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps
• Women’s Masters 4-5 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps
• Men’s Masters 5 - 30 minutes + 3 Laps

Criterium Course

The criterium be on the purpose built criterium course in Nerang. It consists of ten divisions of races around a 1.5km circuit. Each category is conducted as individual mass starts that depart at allocated times. In some circumstances, there will be multiple categories on the course at one time, these combined races will be treated as one race with separate results.

Due to the nature of the course, Races 1 & 2 will be using the smaller flat course (yellow). All other categories will be using the full course unless weather deems it unsafe to race on the course.

The Criterium Championships are part of the 2017 Cycling Australia Masters Road Championships held on the 27-29th of October 2017 in the City of Gold Coast. Below are the links for the Individual Time Trial and Road Race, there is a $10 discount if you enter all 3:
