TREK | CCC Summer Crits Round X

TREK Summer Crits

We are proud to announce the TREK | CCC Summer Crit series!

The Canberra Cycling Club has partnered with TREK to bring you Canberra’s most exciting and competitive criterium series! As the territory's oldest and most popular series, we offer a fantastic range of grades and the highest level of racing.

As well as the terrific support TREK is providing, Canberra Cycling Club members can access a 20% discount off parts when you book your bicycle in for a service at TREK Majura Park, TREK Fyshwick, or TREK Phillip. Full details available in store.

TREK is also supporting a $40 Trek voucher lucky door prize in every grade (A–E), every round. One winner per grade will be drawn at random from riders who register for and start that week's round.

Season Pass Holders

Season Pass Holders do not need to register for this race. We have already added you to the startlist. You can confirm this by clicking the Live Entries button and scrolling for your name.

Junior season passes cover open-grade racing only. Junior Development sessions are entered on a separate listing.

Grade Times

This week's grade times will be posted here shortly. You can get the full calendar from the crit info page.

Where WMN shows as 'Race Your Grade' women should register for and race their normal 'open' grade.

Juniors

There are no Junior White or Junior HC grades this season. Junior racing happens in the Junior Development session (16:30).

  • Junior Development - This session is not on this listing. Enter it on the separate Junior Development listing on EntryBoss. There is a small cost per session, and it is not included in the crit season pass.
  • Juniors in open grades - Experienced juniors who are approved to race can enter their appropriate open grade (A–E) on this listing. Junior entry into open grades is free.
  • Both on the same night - Juniors can ride the Junior Development session and then race their open grade afterwards. Just register on both listings.

Event Information

Full race information, including a Crit Calendar you can print, is on the Summer Crits page on our website. Read this before you register!

Entries will open 8.00 am Thursday the week before each race and close (entries and scratching) 2pm the Wednesday of the race.

Registration

STRICTLY NO ‘AT THE RACE’ OR LATE REGISTRATIONS

To manage our record-keeping and participation reporting we require all participants (including juniors racing open grades) to register each week via EntryBoss.

Season pass holders are automatically entered into each race.

Grade Changes

You will not be able to request a grade change on the Wednesday at or before your race. This is to ensure safe and fair racing and to ease the administrative burden on our volunteers.

If you would like to request a grade change first read the information on the Crit Info Page.

Then contact us to request a change.

On the Day

Only visit the rego desk if you need to collect or return a number pack.

  1. There is no physical ‘check-in’ or ‘sign on’ as with previous years.
  2. No on the day grade changes
  3. Using your phone, check the ‘live check-in' list on my.raceresult.com to see that your tag is working and that you have been automatically ‘checked-in’.
  4. A rider briefing, count and roll call will be conducted before each grade roll away. Please be ready when your grade is called.
  5. At the end of each grade riders with temporary numbers must return their number pack.

Licences

It is your responsibility to ensure you hold the correct license, and that you have correctly entered this information into EntryBoss.

AusCycling 'Race All Discipline' licences are required for this event. If there is a problem with your licence we try and contact you before the race using the contact information you provide in EntryBoss. If you don't reply to our contact requests, and you do not resolve your licence issue we reserve the right to scratch you from the race.

You will not get a start if you do not have a valid licence.

If you are new to racing and don't have a race licence you can take out an All Discipline Race membership with AusCycling.

We suggest you check and update your details to make sure you have a valid licence and can race each week.

  • Helmet - must comply with Australian Standards (ie have appropriate AS sticker)

Scratching and Cancellation

  • Scratching - Scratching is a self-serve, automated refund via EntryBoss if withdrawing within scratching cut-off.
