SUMMER OF SHRED 2026

Mount Taylor Mountain Bike Park

Summer of Shred is back for 2026!

Whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out, Summer of Shred is for everyone - all ages, all experience levels. It’s the perfect way to discover mountain biking in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment.

Come join us for a bit of fun, it’s only as serious as you want to make it! There’ll be plenty of members around to offer tips, cheer you on, and help you get the most out of the experience.

Race Categories

  • Intermediate/Advanced - Longer, more technical trails for experienced riders and those familiar with the trails

  • Beginner Series - Shorter, less tricky trails for those still building confidence

  • Mini Shredders - This perfect for our youngest riders who aren’t quite ready for the main trails but still want to be part of the Summer of Shred excitement. Kids will enjoy a fun, informal session in the Mt Taylor Skills Park, led by an MTBEG instructor who will guide them through basic skills, small obstacles, and confidence‑building features at their own pace. This is a free, fully supported activity designed to help little riders learn safely while having a great time. If your child would like to join in, please register your interest by emailing events@mtbeg.com.au so we can plan for numbers and ensure every Mini Shredder gets the attention they need.
