Lower Hermitage plays host to the 2026 South Australian Junior and Masters Road Race Championships, bringing the state's best junior and masters riders together on a fresh 13.5km circuit. The rolling course, with its mix of descents and rises, should make for an aggressive, tactical race, with each category completing a number of laps suited to their distance requirements. Riders will need to manage their effort carefully across the demanding terrain, with positioning and timing likely to play a big role in the outcome.
We acknowledge that in 2026 we will race on the lands of the Peramangk nation, lands which have been protected, cared for, and lived off by First Nations people for tens of thousands of years. We respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land and cultural beliefs, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, nations and language groups.
A reminder this is a National/State level AusCycling event. Sport Integrity Australia can conduct anti-doping testing at any event or competition. It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of your obligations and have completed clean sport education.
