All riders will need a current AusCycling Australia Race Licence for Grades A, B, C and D, and either a Race or Lifestyle licence for the Novice grade event, which will be a race simulation for newer riders.
We are encouraging as many women as possible to race at our Casey Fields Criterium races. WOMEN'S ONLY RACES WILL BE HELD IF WE GET 6 OR MORE IN EACH GRADE. If there are not enough women to make up a women's only race, you will be placed into the appropriate grade. If placed in a mixed grade, the first woman across the line will be awarded with prize money.
Riders are expected to self-grade via their EntryBoss registration, however final Grading will be at the discretion of the commissaire . Riders grades can change throughout the series based on results.
AusCycling Tech Regulations re roll-out/age-appropriate gearing restrictions are adhered to for all Junior riders.
Track will be open for warm up from 12noon till 12.25pm, prior to Novice and E grades commencing.
Warm up after this time will have to be done on the surrounding roads, not on the Criterium track.
Novice Grade and E Grade will race on the small loop.A, B, C and D grades will use the entire course.
Presentations will be held soon after the completion of each race.
