CCC Winter Women’s 4 Week Program
New to cycling or looking to build confidence riding in a group?
Join our supportive 4-week women’s program designed to help you feel comfortable, capable, and connected on the bike, building towards a goal event on the 13 June, 2026.

Thinking about getting into cycling but not sure where to start? This program is for you.
The Canberra Cycling Club Women’s Come & Try Program is a 4-week structured training program designed to help you build confidence riding on the road and in a group — in a supportive, welcoming environment.
- You don’t need to be super fit.
- You don’t need to have it all figured out.
- You just need to show up.
Across the four weeks, you’ll learn:
- Group riding skills and bunch etiquette
- Braking, cornering, and road awareness
- How to feel more confident and in control on the bike
- How to ride with others (without the stress)
You’ll also meet a great group of women to ride with — because cycling is even better shared!
The 4 week program builds towards a goal event of your choice, either the first CCC Winter Criterium of the season on 13 June or a 60km group road ride with climbs.
