Scratching:
Entered & can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss' Scratching mechanism. Please note the scratching cut-off because non-attendance refunds after this time are at the discretion of the event organisers and may require a medical certificate.
Event Location start/finish– TBA Shuttle Road Access will be only for specified club vehicles and shuttles.
PARKING : Please park on the grassed area via JCU limited parking along ring road - please ensure emergency access and vehicle access clear at all times.
Plate collection 8:00 - 8:30am
Shuttle Practice from 8:30am (shuttle practice will be aiming for minimum of 2 runs (MAX 4 unless time allows)
Rider Briefing: 12:30pm - with lunch break
Racing From 1:00pm (In place of seeding run there will be total of 2 eligible race runs - fastest time recorded)
All riders are required to have to following gear to race:
Fullface helmed Auscycling sanctioned use for DH (non detachable chin guard)
For all riders who are eligible to compete in U13, U15 and U17 categories, the following equipment is mandatory at all times while on track regardless of registered category:
• Full-finger gloves must be worn;
• Full length jersey – jersey must cover elbows at all times;
• Knee pads and elbow pads must be worn.
The use of the following for all competitors is strongly recommended: • Neck brace expressly designed for off-road competition; • Back and shoulder protection expressly designed for the purpose; • Full finger gloves; • Elbow protectors and/or long sleeve jersey to the wrist; • Goggles expressly designed for the purpose.
Make sure you have spares, water, food and are self sufficient - there will be a bbq onsite cooking up snags & some drinks for purchase.
U18 Participants must have an Adult Guardian in attendance, and must give their mobile contact and email to registration desk upon registration. - We'd LOVE you to be a Marshal on track to help with running this event. Without adequate numbers to help we cannot go ahead with the race. If you can't walk up the hill - you can man the shuttle road or bbq.
