The Albany MTB club is proud to present the Club championship race series. The series consists of four races from the four race disciplines of pump track, Downhill, cross country and gravity enduro. The series winner in each division will be decided by the best total score from all four races.

• Where: HQ set up at Club Sea Container Albany Youth Challenge Park
• When: Sunday 25th May
• Sign in Desk & Chip Collection Open : 15:30
• Timed Practice : 15:30-16:00
  
• Race Start (all categories) : 16:00-18:00

PUMP TRACK RACE

Riders will have unlimited practice prior to the event. During racing competitors will have two timed runs in each direction, clockwise and anti-clockwise, with their fastest lap in each direction counting. Results will be based on the lowest combined total of the two fastest laps from each competitor.

Australian standard helmets and at least one working brake are mandatory.
Protective gear and full face helmets are recommended.
If you do not have the required protective equipment please contact president@albanymtb.com or leave a message on the club facebook page @albanymtbclub and Albany MTB club will try and locate some suitable loan gear so that you are able to participate.

Timing chips must be returned at the end of the event or competitors risk replacement cost of $120.
All competitors must have AusCycling insurance through a club membership. More information and links to insurance below.

Who:

Open to anyone age 5 or over! Male and female for u9, u11, u13, u15, u17, open , master 40+, e-bike. Please note the u9 category is only available in the Pump Track race event.

Ebikes must be set to factory specifications which is pedal assist only, max 250W and max output speed of 25km/h. EBikes may be inspected at random and failure to comply with factory specifications is deemed cheating with disqualification.

Divisions are for both male and female.
We do not discriminate against any wheel size. BMX welcome!
This is an alcohol and smoke free event.
Spectators are also welcome.

Eligibility and Insurance:

To be eligible to race in the summer gravity series competitors need to have race insurance through AusCycling. Only race membership is suitable, lifestyle or non-riding members are not insured for racing.

Prizes and awards:

Winners for the Club Championship Series will be based on points accumulated from each event.
Prizes for each division will be presented at the Presentations following the final event.
Riders from any club can enter the race series but only Albany MTB club members are eligible to win trophies for the series.
Members from other club are welcome to ‘add on’ a membership to Albany MTB club to their existing club membership. This costs $20 and can be done through the AusCycling website. https://auscycling.org.au/become-a-member/club-add-on
