Registration and Start Times Registration opens at 8:30am, the first race starts at 9:30am, detailed schedule to come
Round two of VICS MTB will be run at the Lysterfield Mountain Bike complex. This will be held on the State Mountain Bike Course, with the start and finish points adjacent to Glen Track.
Parking, with a gold coin donation, and the event village will be situated a short walk to the start area. The Narre Warren Scouts will be providing a BBQ, with coffee and refreshments provided by Stop and Go.
Commonwealth Games Course
U15, U17, U19 RACE categories will ride the 2006 Commonwealth Games track 5.8km. This track is considerably more challenging than the 4.1km 'Long Course' and will be run anti-clockwise. If you are unsure of which category or course best suits you, Dirtriders are holding a rec ride on the track, Saturday 20th July at 1pm from Hallam North Rd carpark.
Long Course:
U15, U17, U19 Novice will ride a 4.1km course. Riders will experience a challenging single track, technical rocky sections, descents with inclined berms and timber boardwalks. The course is ridden anti-clockwise.
Short Course:
U11, U13 will ride a 2.4km course. This course will avoid some of the more challenging technical elements of the long course, providing a fun course for riders in these age categories.
U9, will ride a shortened version of the 2.4km 'short course'. This course will be fun and fast avoiding challenging technical elements.
Assistance will be required for the event with rider registration and presentation. Those who can spare some time to assist will have a complimentary entry. Limited spots available, please contact Steven Nicol at steven.nicol@cycling.org.au if you would like to register.
