Annual University of QLD CC vs Hamilton Wheelers CC - Battle of the Arses Nundah Criterium Circuit
Only members of these two clubs are eligible to enter.
By registering for the event and presenting for the race, you acknowledge that this race is run under AusCycling's rules.
Entries from each club will be capped at 30 (i.e. 60 entries maximum per grade).
The InterClub Criterium traditionally attracts large fields as both Clubs seek to compete for the overall best InterClub competition in Brisbane. UQCC calls upon it's members to volunteer to help with setup, sign-on registrations, marshalling, corner marshals, and event pack-down. Please ensure to put your name forward to volunteer on the day.
Please get in touch with one of the UQCC Grade Captains or a member of the UQCC Committee with any questions regarding volunteering.
Entries will only be accepted from riders with a current grading with their respective club. For Hamilton Wheelers club members, check your grading listed on the Hamilton Wheelers website. For UQCC club members, please be honest with your entry and enter the Grade which you would normally enter at a UQCC Club Crit. Please get in touch with one of the UQCC Grade Captains if you are unsure what Grade you should enter. PLEASE ENTER BY THURSDAY NIGHT TO ALLOW TIME FOR BOTH CLUBS TO CHECK GRADINGS.
Entries from each club will be capped at 30 (i.e. 60 entries maximum per grade).
UQCC have introduced a small entry fee for criteriums as of 2025.
You will not be able to show up and race if you have not registered prior to the event.
Late entries will be considered by exception.
No individual prize money will be awarded. Riders get a podium pic and glory only. The event is Club vs Club, so riders are competing for the overall points for the Club to be awarded the Battle of the Arses Trophy.

Riders must sign on for the start list as you arrive at the staging area, with a roll taken to confirm any riders not yet ticked off.
Rollout - All Juniors U19s and lower, no matter what grade they are racing in, must get their gearing rollout checked on the footpath near the clubhouse steps BEFORE picking up their race number
Volunteers are needed to carry out the sign-on. Please consider giving some help here. All volunteers will receive free entry to their next crit.
IMPORTANT:
Race numbers should be pinned to your right hand side, not on your back! This makes it possible for commissaires to identify you from trackside.
Wet-weather Policy - A decision to cancel due to poor weather will only made out at the course by the Chief Commissaire with announcements made via website and facebook (unless it's absolutely certain weather would make it impossible to race)
Those wishing to claim a place should present to the commissaires for confirmation.
If you have any questions, please send an email to info@uqcycle.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
