The Para Team Relay

SANTOS Para Team Relay returns to Adelaide in 2024. Riders will be divided into teams of 2 and 3, with each rider completing a lap before setting off their team mate. Final race format listed below.

Membership

All riders (including pilots) will need to hold an AC all discipline licence. A trial membership will be acceptable. Please sign up prior to the event:

Schedule

Schedule TBC:
4:00: Sign On Opens at Rider Area
5:00: Rider Call up (an opportunity for commentary to have a chat to a few riders)
5:10: Race Starts
5:35 - Expected first finisher
5:40 - On track presentations

Race format: All riders will be split into teams of 2 riders.
Course to be raced Clockwise.
Race Start is from the Start Line on Rundle St, laps are counted from the beginning of the Transfer Area.
Each rider will complete TWO laps and return to the transfer area.
When a team's rider enters the transfer area, the next rider in the team can enter the course.
Each Team will complete 8 laps of the 1.8km course.
On the final lap, riders will continue to the Finish Line rather than ending their lap at the Transfer Area.

H1 riders will complete one lap instead of 2 laps.
