About Cairns BMX

The Cairns BMX Club was established in 1978 and is one of the biggest BMX Clubs in Australia. A very dedicated team of Volunteers who are happy to assist anyone runs the club.

The Club primarily uses Facebook to advertise events and general information - please visit our page for all up-to-date information.

Racing normally takes place end of January to beginning of December each year. Season January - December With a break for School Holidays We have approx. 25 Club Points Meetings

We also have 1 Major Meeting during the year. We race every Friday night except School Holidays (weather permitting).

Family Discount

We run the family discounts on a trust system.
The family discount codes does not apply for mini-wheelers or mini-sprockets. Please use the Promo Codes below at entry to trigger your discount.

Entry Notes:

• Riders can only enter 1 age class.
  
• Mini wheelers and Sprockets can only race participation classes.

We have 2 new classes for New riders or riders who want to ride socially

• Crankettes (Girls aged 8-13yrs)
  
• Cranks (Boys aged 8-13yrs)

11-14 year olds have 2 class options:

• 11-14 Years - for all riders

• 11-14 Years Expert - for riders who are more advanced, more competitive and wanting race paced, elbow to elbow action each moto (Lap pace guide 41-46 seconds)

Scratching:

Can't make it and would like a refund?
Use the scratching button prior to the Scratching Cut-off to access an automated refund.

Facilities

• Our track caters to all abilities. Easy to ride for beginners and challenging for more experienced riders
  
• We have light towers which enable us to race at night
• Our canteen pumps out food at gate nights and race meets
