JUNIORS, WOMENS and MENS graded criterium races open to ALL clubs and race licensed riders with Cycling Australia.

Due to unforeseen issues with the booking of Vic Park, there is another event in the morning using the circuit, as such we will be racing in the afternoon. NCC apologies to any riders impacted by this time change. We have decided, better to run later then to cancel. See revised schedule on EntryBoss noting race times are slightly shorter to fit the program into the available afternoon daylight hours. Start and race times may vary slightly as we adjust to the tighter time frame, please get there a little earlier and be prepared for races to be a bit shorter.

Sign on: Juniors from 1.30pm and Seniors from 2pm at the start/finish.
Bring your 2019 CA race license or proof of race license information
NCC KIT: NCC members in NCC Kit entries are $10 discount - nominate online - cash back on the day.
Cash Payments: please bring small / correct notes to assist sign on.
New riders: please see more information below.

Prizes: 1st-3rd in each Grade.

Grading

To check the grade you are in with the amount of points you have accumulated:

Please check what grade you have been placed in by the handicapper in the view start list tab prior to the event starting. The handicapper reserves the right to handicap riders as they see fit. It is the responsibility of the rider to review the published start list. To view the handicapped list see the view start list button on the EntryBoss event page.

New Riders

New to racing, why not try Cycling Australia's Starter pack, to try racing before committing to a full license, see link below. Not quite sure which grade you are? Please feel free to have a chat with NCC Handicapper Peter Varricchio on 0411 118 262. If you have questions about racing please contact NCC on facebook messenger. If its your first race recommend arriving at sign on at least 30min prior to your race starting, to sign on, have your paper work with proof of license. Leave time to pin on numbers, zip tie on timing transponder and warm up / have a nervous toilet break!

Juniors Riding Up Policy

U17 Juniors can ride up as long as all conditions of the CSA Juniors Riding Up Policy are met, and the relevant forms are signed and provided to the club prior to race start with a copy at sign on. Note if a junior grade is offered, for example the NCC Sunday Winter Criterium Series programs, riders must compete in the Junior Grade prior to riding up in the Senior Grade.
