We are proud to announce the TREK | CCC Summer Crit series!
The Canberra Cycling Club has partnered with TREK to bring you Canberra’s most exciting and competitive criterium series! As the territory's oldest and most popular series, we offer a fantastic range of grades and the highest level of racing.
As well as the terrific support TREK is providing, Canberra Cycling Club members can access a 20% discount off parts when you book your bicycle in for a service at TREK Majura Park, TREK Fyshwick, or TREK Phillip. Full details available in store.
We kindly request that you do not set up any structures or equipment (ie your own marquees, BBQs, or gazebos) at the pavilion, or on any of the paved or grassed areas surrounding the crit track.
It's not only a fantastic night for racing but also a great opportunity for friends, family and clubmates to get together. So bring a picnic blanket and a few drinks and celebrate the biggest night of racing in Canberra.
This year we've organised:
Thanks to the Boorer family we will again be able to offer significant cash prizes for Men's and Women's A grade.
Alivio Tourist Park, Trek and Hutchinson will provide prizes for the other grades' primes.
The Bakehouse Canberra is again providing Christmas puddings for all grade podiums.
Winning Position will be giving away a Bike Fit session. This will be by lucky draw for any rider entered into the Women Races. Just enter and race to be in with a chance of winning.
The Summer Women's Series is an 3-part series to provide a platform for women to race against other women. As a club, we realise that there are complexities surrounding female participation and the intention of this series is to encourage more of the talented women we have here in Canberra to race & participate. With varying feedback over the years, we recognise that there are benefits to mixing the grades and separating them.
We will run two grades during each Women's round: Women's A/B, and Women's C/D.
To participate in the Women's series just register and select the normal open grade you would race. You will be entered into that grade like normal, and automatically entered into the Women's Series race.
Riders can then choose to race the normal round, the women's series race, or both! All for the same entry fee. Just register, show up with your Season Number correctly attached, and we'll do the rest.
More than $4,000+ in cash and prizes across the grades thanks to our sponsors and supporters. Prizemoney for all grades
Riders who are lapped or who DNF will not be eligible to receive sprint primes. In this case the prime will be awarded to the next eligible rider.
Thank you to the Boorer family for their generous support.
