Scratching:
Entered & can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss' Scratching mechanism. Please note the scratching cut-off because non-attendance refunds after this time are at the discretion of the event organisers and may require a medical certificate.

Race Schedule-

7:30 - 8:00 - Plate Collection

8:15 - 8:30 - Rider's Briefing

8:30 - 13:00 - Racing

Podiums will take place soon after racing has concluded.

RACE FORMAT

Riders will have 4 hours 30min to complete full course all timed stages, EBIKE and ELITE categories will have to complete 2 timed runs of the queen stage.

Start order is self seeding, so pick you spot, you can go straight after someone if you wish, there will be timing crew out on course but not at the start of every stage, don't leave big gaps or you might not make it back in time.

Stages can be done in any order.

Riders will be expected to complete blue, black, double black grade trails

U15 (13-114) - 4 stages

U17 (15-17) - 4 stages

Junior U19 (17-18) - 4 Stages

Open Men and Women - 3 Stages

Veterans (30-44) - 4 Stages

Masters (45+) - 4 Stages

Expert (19-29) - 4 Stages

Elite 19+ - 5 Stages

open E-Bike - 5 Stages

Information

Welcome to Round 1 of the 2024 Discovery Cycles GENERAL ENDURO

Location:

Race HQ will be under the Discovery Cycles tents at the Crankworx site. There will be plenty of parking and area for competitors to set up here.

Stages are as follows:

Stage 1 From Crocs Teeth into Croc Slide, down Jacob’s Ladder to Centipede, finishing at the Crankworx DH Bridge.

Stage 2 Starting and Cockatoo Flats, down Nationals DH, into Cuss Cuss and finishing at the bottom of the Cuss Cuss trail.

Stage 3 Starting at the top of Happy’s, along the original trail, into MP39, finishing over the small bridge.

Stage 4 SECRET STAGE - Will be revealed at the riders briefing on the morning of race day. This stage will be run twice for Men’s and Women’s ELITE and EBIKE categories, and excluded from Men’s and Women’s OPEN categories.

NOTE!!! ALL RIDERS MUST HOLD A CURRENT AUSCYCLING RACE LICENCE or DAY LICENCE TO COMPETE IN THIS EVENT. A visual verification of this may be required on the day.

All riders are required to have to following gear to race:

full Face helmet

full finger Gloves

Knee Pads

Extra gear is optional

Make sure you have enough water to last the race or plan to refill, any tools required to fix any mechanical's.

After the podium ceremony random prizes from our event sponsors, POC, CST and MUC-OFF will be drawn.

Event Cancellations

• Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
• We will do our best to communicate our intentions early if the event is at risk of not proceeding.
