The annual Canberra Junior and Women's tour is Australia's premiere junior tour and highly popular event for women cyclists from entry- to national level. The event is open to riders from 5 years old to Under 19 as well as women of all ages (graded into Women's A grade, Women's B grade & Women's C grade). The participation category is open to riders 5 y.o. and up, who are either not yet old enough to race in U9, or want to give the event a try in a less demanding format.
To enter the racing categories of the 2019 Peter Blackshaw Real Estate Canberra Junior & Women's Tour, a Cycling Australia Race License is required (purchase here) and you will need your Cycling Australia membership details.
This is not required for the the Junior Participation Category - please use N/A when prompted for a membership category.
Bikes with disc brakes will be permitted in all categories of the Canberra Junior & Women's Tour.
Held in conjunction with the CJWT will be the U15 and U17 Road Race and Individual Time Trial Championships. Medals will be awarded to the first three riders across the finish line and the first ACT rider.
