"CHOPPER" MARSHALL FAMILY RACE

This race caters riders aged 30+, of all abilities - STRICTLY CLUB MEMBERS ONLY

• Race Format: Graded scratch road race.

• Course: 9.5 km circuit. Herne Hill - starting at Argyle Street, Herne Hill Primary School.

• Race start is progressive from all grades from 9.00 am.

• Collect your number 15 mins before race start from Herne Hill Primary School.

• The Marshall Family will present prize money to all winners and place getters in all grades on race completion.

This is a mile stone for our club with "Chopper" Geoff Marshall providing generous sponsorship for this once a year race. This is his way of giving back to our club to wit he has fond memories of racing with us. The race is to encourage club members in regular participation in our road races and recognise the efforts of those who ride with the club on a regular and supporting basis.

The generous sponsorship will extend for the club over the next 5 years ending in 2028 to encourage further participation within our club.

Sponsored Prize Money

• A generous $5,000 is being offered to all grades.
• $350 will be given to all Grade winners and paying money progressively down to 5th Place - this amount will depend on numbers participation in that grade which will be calculated on total participation in each grade. (More riders to grade, more money for placings).
• Sprint Prem on Lap 2 to all A, B, C & D grades $60.
• $ Bonus for 1st lady not in the placings - all grades.
• $ Incentives for those who travel the furthest to participate (advise race committee whence you came for this race, visits to your investment property excluded).
• $ for unlucky riders to those worthy as identified by the race Referee. (not if you pull out!).
• Incentive bonus - unspecified!

Race Entry

• Race Entry (WCMCC member discount) $35 - Late Entry Available, $40 on the day

• Transponder Hire is $5 - if you don't own one.

• Members, please use your AVCC EntryBoss profile to enter (Admin will scratch incorrect entries).

• West Coast Masters no longer provides automatic refunds for incorrect entries scratched by Race Admin. To apply for a refund, please email the Treasurer (treasurer@wcmasterscycling.asn.au) including your account details.

• An administration fee ($5) will be applied to any refund.

• A fitted REAR LIGHT to your bike is encouraged - It is a preferred to be solid red non-flashing

Please Note - 'Non-Member' Entries will not be accepted for this race.
