Information

Welcome to Round 1 of the 2024 Discovery Cycles Open Gravity Enduro

Stay after 2 for Presentations, drinks and random giveaway prizes from POC and Muc Off

All riders are required to have to following gear to race:

full Face helmet

full finger Gloves

Knee Pads

Extra gear is optional

Make sure you have enough water to last the race or plan to refill, any tools required to fix any mechanical's as other riders may not be around to offer assistance

RACE FORMAT

Riders will have 5 hours 30min to complete full course all timed stages, EBIKE will have to complete 2 timed runs of the queen stage.

Start order is self seeding, so pick you spot, you can go straight after someone if you wish, there will be timing crew out on course but not at the start of every stage, don't leave big gaps or you might not make it back in time.

Stages can be done in any order.

Riders will be expected to complete blue, black, double black grade trails

U15 (13-114) - 4 stages

U17 (15-17) - 4 stages

Junior U19 (17-18) - 4 Stages

Veterans (30-44) - 4 Stages

Masters (45+) - 4 Stages

Expert (19-29) - 4 Stages

Elite 19+ - 4 Stages

open E-Bike - 5 Stages

Race Stages

Stage 1: Rocky Dingo, upper PDs, reverse Whiskers(Queen Stage) EBIKES WILL DO THIS STAGE TWICE

Starting at top of Rocky dingo, ride all the way down into ocean view, take the left into top part of PDs then hard left into whiskers and continue down in reverse and finish of the road.

Stage 2: Crocs Teeth, Croc Slide , lower PDs

Start at the junction of upper whiskers (2nd World Cup climb) straight into Croc Teeth, then croc slide then ride over Bridge, under bridge, then short sprint into lower PDs follow around water tank and finish at end of trail.

Stage 3: Top Whiskers/Myndas reverse into Centipede

Same start as Stage 2 into upper whiskers backwards then straight into centipede, down centipede and hard left finish at the WC bridge.

Stage 4: Happies OG into MP39

Start top of Happies, into the original line, then into MP39 finish on the bridge

Event Cancellations

• Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
• We will do our best to communicate our intentions early if the event is at risk of not proceeding.
