Dubbo 3 Hour - part of the NSW Central West XC Mountain Bike Inter-club Race Series

Dubbo Mountain Bike Club is pleased to be hosting Round 3 of the 2024 NSW Central West XC Mountain Bike Inter-club Race Series at the Bald Hill track located at the end of Chambers Street, Geurie just 24 minutes from Dubbo.

Venue

The event will take place at .Bald Hill Geurie. The trailhead is at southern end of Aurthurville Rd, Geurie.

Camping

There are no camping facilities at the trails however:

Camping facilities are available at the Geurie Showground, no booking is necessary and $10 gets you power and hot showers. The caretaker collects the money on the day.

Free camping will be available on the property adjacent to the trails and there will be a portable toilet provided. There will be room for a couple of caravans but it is more suited to general camping.

Food and BBQ

A bbq will be running on the day selling plenty of tasty treats to keep you going.

Registration

Registration is ONLINE ONLY and you must have a valid AusCycling, or One Day Event Licence. No late entries will be accepted. For AusCycling licence information please visit https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership.

One Day Event Licence

If you are not a current member, then you may include the purchase of a temporary membership in your entry. AusCycling's One Day Event Licence is a great option for people who like to race occasionally and would prefer not to commit for a full year. The cost for a One Day Event Licence is $44 + the entry fee and is fully refunded if the event is cancelled or you scratch prior to the event.

Refunds: If we need to cancel for any reason, all riders will be given a 100% refund. We'll make every effort to notify riders the event is cancelled. If in doubt, please check this race listing for a notice.

Race Format

Individuals and teams are completing to see who can complete the most amount of laps in 3 hours.

Juniors (U13) can race the full course and time in pairs teams or a modified short course for a maximum of 1 hour.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Podium Places are awarded for all grades

A presentation will be held following the event.
